Our desire to align Oyster Estates with the wants and needs of our clients means we continually strive for effectiveness and efficiency. One of the ways we do this is by integrating our IT and staffing structure to produce a service that meets the needs of our clients. In other words, at Oyster Estates we rely not just on our accounting and property management software but the ability and integrity of our staff to look after your individual situation.
In house systems
CFP Software provides our Leasehold Management client accounting and Letting client accounting systems and is one of only a few companies presently offering software compliant with RICS and ARMA accounting rules. Amongst many functions, the system creates daily automated reports that give us aid memoirs to carry out tasks relating to landlords, tenants, RMC’s, RTM’s, lessees or properties. In particular, the generating of inspection reminders allows us to schedule property visits, which highlight potential issues that can quickly be addressed.
Our computer hardware and internet systems are managed by ATWInformation Technology Systems Ltd who, because we take the security of your data held on our system seriously, on a daily basis remotely back up all our data and store it away from our premises. As a further daily back up, we also take copies of data held on the server and store them away from the office.
At Oyster Estates, our staff provide specific functions to enhance our service. As well as accounts personnel, property managers and support staff, we employ a dedicated maintenance manager to coordinate minor works, liaising with landlord, tenant and contractors. This facility also allows us to offer landlords our services for project managing refurbishment and general building works.
Training
Part of our process to enable staff to fully understand your business, involves their constant training and development in relevant subjects through courses run by various property associations including NAEA and ARLA. A combination of individual skills, industry training and understanding of company software, best places our entire customer facing staff to meet your needs. As a result of their feedback, we actively empower them to suggest and then make improvements to our service. Oyster believes the time and financial investment put into up-skilling our staff along with the benefits they gain from their learning and personal growth is reflected in the way they look after you.
